State of the Art Irrigation System for Dry Creek Meadow Parks
6/20/2007
Hidden Springs is just completing installation of a computerized state of the art irrigation system for the parks in Dry Creek Meadow. The system includes soil moisture sensors and a series of irrigation controllers that water landscapes only when needed. The system, developed by engineers formerly at HP, is expected to result in reduced maintenance labor costs and in significant water conservation. The landscape watersitself, eliminating extensive manual intervention and never-ending clock adjustments. If the system works well in this first installation, the hope is that each of the earlier phases will gradually be retrofitted until the entire system is linked to a central control.
