GeoEngineers receive award for Dry Creek Bridge design

GeoEngineers received first place in Engineering Excellence for innovative bridge design for the Dry Creek Bridge (Humphreys Rd. crossing) from the American Council of Engineering Companies in March 2006. The award was in the Structural Systems category for the Dry Creek Geofoam Abutment Project which saved the Developers of Hidden Springs approximately 17% in construction costs compared to a traditional pile foundation design, and addressed issues related to the soft underlying soils at the site.
